4 Wedding Signs Your Outdoor Celebration Needs
Wedding signs are a great way to provide information to your guests while still looking pretty. An added bonus: signs don’t need to repeat themselves when asked the same question and can look great doing it, regardless of the weather! Calligraphers have this magic tool called oil-based paint pens that won’t come off even if it rains on your wedding day.
Technically, these ideas can be applied to an outdoor or indoor wedding. The reason I specified it for outdoor weddings is because they can require much more planning logistically. Continue reading to see how these ideas can help your wedding day flow seamlessly and make your life and/or your wedding planner’s life easier in the process!
1 Welcome Sign
Make it clear to your guests what’s going on. Welcome signs aren’t just there to look pretty. If there are multiple events going on simultaneously, your welcome sign will let your guests know whether they are in the right place or not!
2 Ceremony Board
Forget about paper programs to hand out to your guests. Wind + paper are not a good combo. Rain + paper are not a good combo. Put all the wedding party details and the order of the ceremony on a board situated in the ceremony area where guests can easily see it.
3 Menu Board
Similar to the Ceremony Board, having individual menus printed and placed on every guest’s table setting just isn’t feasible once you factor in the possibility of wind and rain. Consider including all dinner details on a board and place it near your seating chart at the entrance to your reception area instead!
4 Directional Signage
For outdoor weddings, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are usually held in different locations. Not only that, but washrooms can also be hard to find. Make it easy by providing directional signage so no one gets lost and everyone is in the right place at the right time! Simple arrows pointing in the correct direction will make a world of difference!
So tell me, are you having an outdoor wedding this year? Are you planning on using any of the signs mentioned here? Or are you in need of some of these signs for you big day? Look no further. Shoot me a message and let’s see if we can squeeze you into the Bon Paper House calendar.
