Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery Wedding | Chris + Delainie
In case you were starting to feel the winter blues, take a look at today’s post to transport yourself to a Tuscan vineyard. Just kidding! I’m sharing some pictures from Chris and Delainie’s September wedding at the Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery. Even though the venue is located within Niagara’s wine region, you’d think that you were sitting in a villa, sipping wine, watching two close friends vow to love each other for the rest of their lives.
Sweet Woodruff knocked it out of the ball park with beautiful botanical touches ranging from the typical bouquet and centrepieces to stunningly unique greenery draped from hanging lanterns and climbing up the side of the venue tent. A Tuscan touch was also added with artichokes and bowls of figs sprinkled throughout the tablescape decor.
With a colour palette full of soft greys, taupe and a touch of rose gold, I had so much fun creating some of the signage and stationery. We went with handpainted table numbers in rose gold to play off the cutlery. Chris and Delainie also chose to have simple signage in grey calligraphy to let their guests know what was up and what was down.
Now, I love all my Bon Paper House couples. That’s a fact. But I loved working with Chris and Delainie so much because it was so evident that they always thought of their guests first. When we were designing the little thank you tags that were to be tied around the wedding favours, the original plan was to have each guests’ names written on the back. After thinking it over though, the couple decided to forego this as they thought their guests trying to read names off of small tags in a dark tent after having knocked back a couple drinks might not go so well.
And you know what? It made me love them even more. Even though it meant less calligraphy, I loved that they thought about every single aspect of their wedding from their guests’ perspectives. Each piece I created for them had a very specific purpose and the ultimate goal was always to make sure that guests knew what was going on.
Not sure what the wedding hashtag was? We had a sign for it. Not sure what the petals were for? We had a sign for it. Not sure where to sign the guestbook? We had a sign for it. Aaaand I think you get the picture.
Now, let’s get to the fun part. Scroll down to transport yourself to a little Tuscan villa at the Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery and see who all the talented vendors were!
